Capri is an immortal island, it exudes a charm like none other..and believe me i have travelled, it is mesmerising, enchanting and overwelhming all in one huge blast.
It makes you feel like Jude law in Talented Mr Ripley mixed with the Enzo from Luc Besson's Big Blue.. It makes you want to wear sailor shoes and red shorts and sip wine on a terraced garden with chilled peaches. It makes you want to ride a boat and sail whilst having a tan that looks unaffected by the ridicule of bitter winter's in Europe..it makes you feel Golden..
Capri has been the playground of the rich for some time now..you see them everywhere but no blingy bags and huge sunglasses..those are the tourists!!. The people who live in Capri have an unaffected look of wealth that is only seen among the real blue blooded..A easy manner and affable conversation. Understated elegance mixed with a euro preppy grunge wear..considering Capri comes from the word Wild Boar.
One piece of advice stay till the last boats leave and all the day trippers have gone and enjoy Capri in all its glory..
La Dolce Vita...
