We often use language as scepters of judgment; if its only words that determine our self-worth, then by all means, kill the messenger.
Formal education uses language as a means of control; we are taught when, where and how we can or cannot use which words, and, consequently, we grow to mistrust our relationship to language.
The mistrust smolders underground, mostly unnoticed, until our words are thrust into containers. Suddenly, words make us visible targets for judgment and criticism.
Its this language that we used to crucify us, if we didnt have a language..I wonder what our mode of communication would be...I know early man drew sunlight , deers and what not...So if we take away speech.. then what are we left with..ok..non verbal communication..so we would have to actually meet people to communicate with them...not on FB,Twitter, My space and all other social networking sites..So Isn't it time that we create a new language..It is Ironical that as we speak I am blogging about this.. But All the same..
I.e Images, movies with no words..no classification ..our minds love to Label and classify everythingh into these little tight containers...so how would be describe them if we didnt have words..can you draw, paint, sing, me an innocence of a child..or other more abstract symbolism...
So can we move to a language that is not corrective...it is already happening with texting..no rules, no grammar..just get the thought across..Its leading to a certain amout of freedom..
