| Reflection |
This Image was a part of my first Exhibition "Silent voices of an Unseen India" . I was walking next to the Gateway of India in Bombay and I came across a Soap Bubble on the ground.
That bubble reflected everything to me that I was searching for that day with my camera..Its innocence and Fragility spoke volumes to me..it was almost like a photograph..it was a fleeting moment before the pop..much like life ..an within its cocoon it held so many dreams.. If you look closely it reflects people that were bystanders and she envelopes them in her cocoon and the swirl of the bubbles inside her almost feel like an entire solar system was within her..yet when I looked closely enough..You could see the hard reality of the ground..through its dreamy state.
It showed me a complete philosophy of life..a metaphor that completed the circle of life. ..I wanted to call it black moon as it played between darkness and light..the good and the bad forces of our universe and yet..it encapsulated the best of life..just as it had been given birth to by our breath ..it slowly popped and leaving me with her memory of a moment and I exhaled...I was enthralled..excited and nervous..Could I possibly give her life..express what she wanted to say..or it said what I had projected into her..that she reflected...it lead to answers just abstract thoughts ..much like this image that I constantly look at to find those very answers...
